Delete Your HeroBlend Account

We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to delete your HeroBlend account and what data will be removed.

How to Delete Your Account

You have two options to delete your HeroBlend account:

Option 1: Delete Account From the App (Recommended)

1. Open the HeroBlend app on your device
2. Go to Settings or Customer Center
3. Scroll down to find "Delete Account" option
4. Tap "Delete Account"
5. Confirm your decision by tapping "Delete" in the confirmation dialog
6. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted

Option 2: Email Request

If you're unable to access the app, you can request account deletion via email:

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your HeroBlend account, the following data will be permanently removed:

• Account Information: Your email address, authentication credentials, and profile data
• Generated Images: All blend images you've created using the app
• Original Uploads: All selfies and character images you've uploaded
• Generation History: All records of your past generations
• Subscription Data: Your subscription history and preferences (billing handled by Apple/Google)
• Usage Data: Analytics and app usage information linked to your account

What Data Will Be Retained

For legal and operational reasons, some information may be retained:

• Transaction Records: Payment transaction records may be retained by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat for accounting and tax purposes (we do not have access to full payment details)
• Legal Compliance: Information required to be retained by law for a specific period
• Aggregated Analytics: Anonymized, aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to you

Retention Period: Any retained data will be kept for a maximum of 2 years from the date of account deletion, unless legally required to keep it longer.

Active Subscriptions

Important information about subscriptions:

• Deleting your account does NOT automatically cancel your subscription
• You must cancel your subscription separately through:
  • iPhone/iPad: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → HeroBlend → Cancel Subscription
  • Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → HeroBlend → Cancel Subscription
• Refunds are subject to Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies
• We recommend canceling your subscription before deleting your account

Account Deletion Timeline

• In-App Deletion: Immediate (data deleted within 24 hours)
• Email Request: Processed within 7 business days
• Data Removal: All data is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days
